unless the company/org/dev reputation doesn’t matter to the site’s privacy criteria.

It famously doesn’t matter too much really, for better or for worse. If this were the case a whole lot of drama-addicted recommendations would have to be reconsidered.

The consensus has generally been to only remove recommendations based on technical failings, so Firefox is safe for now If we want to discuss that, that’s a whole separate topic.
