An update was released a few minutes ago, with a new logo and interface.

From johanw in the matrix when asked about valldrac (main molly dev): He is very busy working on a more automated system to merge upstream commits into Molly. I believe he wants a new beta this week.

Is there a changelog somewhere for this release?

Not that I know of, at least not yet, but even then it’s only going to be changes from signal if we get any.

It seems there’s no Molly specific changes, they probably aren’t finished with the work they’ve been doing but there were reports of linking new devices now being broken from the lack of updates so I think this is just a merge from upstream to fix that.

For some reason notnjust Molly but how Sigbal handles changelog is also very weird they don’t usually publish a detailed one.

Another one of the devs S1m said that the limit for the app to stop working is 180 days, so we’d actually be good for a bit longer even if the next update wasn’t coming soon.
