Just a quick pair of questions I’ve been wondering about. I use MacOS Mail to access my Proton account (via the Bridge) and an Outlook365 account (which I have to be able to check a few times a day).
Am I safer using Proton’s website when it comes to (the very low chance) of getting malware through a dodgy email attachment? I have the Mail app set to not load any remote content, and my network content is filtered through NextDNS. I don’t bother loading remote content for 99.999% of emails.
Another question: in terms of privacy, am I better off using the Mail app to access Outlook365 email, using LittleSnitch to block every MS domain that isn’t necessary to access the email account (turns out you only need to allow one URL), or would I be better off using the Outlook website, isolated in an FF container, with uBO blocking as many requests as possible?
All thoughts welcome.
