Yes indeed, I was never a fan of LastPass and their lacking transparency, but they quickly managed to fully discredit themselves. Still so many customers seem loyal, also I still see a lot of presence of the company at security conventions. Nobody understands.

It’s because they’re crazy on bundling Lastpass with other things. I’ve seen software sold to medical doctors for example “bundled” with LastPass.
It’s not because it’s good software.
