Is there any privacy benefit to profiles on Windows 11?

I’m going back to school (trying to teach this old dog some new tricks) and the classes I’m taking require using Windows since we’ll be installing various software and we’ll also be using some Google stuff as well, mainly Youtube, GoogleDocs, etc… If it was just the Google stuff I’d simply make a different profile in Firefox but with installing stuff on my laptop would it be wiser to make another user just for my school work? I’m not sure if Windows works like Android where everything in a profile is separated from other profiles.

Non-admin users can’t access files in other users home folders, that’s pretty much it. Browser settings are often stored in the user’s home folder. So any file an app would read in those folders cannot be accessed with a different user profile with said app… As long as it’s not an admin profile.

Correct me if I’m wrong.
