I’d like to get an older pixel to play around with the OS and have for backup use purposes. Don’t care if it’s not the most current version of GOS that’s available for install, just that I can get it installed without going through a bunch of hoops.
No you can’t but a pixel 6 is old enough and still supported for some other months.
You will get more responses in discuss. GrapheneOS
even though it starts from Pixel 6, if you scroll down more, you find Pixel <6 Versions
as an example; Releases | GrapheneOS
then you simply choose your flavor of release,
i personally would not recommend the older devices
compiled or not, it is still a release of source code
It’s just the manifest, unsupported device releases are not available anymore.
I also want to know how I can get the unsupported Pixel to the latest possible GOS. I get that it’s not totally secure, but I want to do this.
