Is it any difference Type-A, Type-C and Thunderbolt for security?

i recently want to buy a USB Disk and thunderbolt is generally considered more secure than standard Type-A/C, especially for sensitive data transfers, is it real? so thats mean i only should be use USB Disk with Thunderbolt port?

Could you explain why you need more security for the data transfer? The drive usually is right next to your computer so the security of the transfer is usually not an issue for most users.

The technologies you listed mainly differ in speed and additional features (and price).

There shouldn’t be any difference in security.

You can enable certain motherboard settings for VFIO. These allows the isolation of USB devices such that if you are running a VM, a malicious USB device cannot spill over from the guest VM to the Host OS.

some proprietary software may can inject virus to usb, or if i borrow my usb to other, in this case i dont know maybe Thunderbolt better?

No. If your computer becomes infected with malware the port over which you save your data to an external drive does not matter.

Never hand out a drive with important data to someone else or plug it into another computer - for the same reason.
