iPhone 16 pro running iOS 26.1 in AFU state, password unknown. What if any data could be extracted using current digital forensics tools
We can only know from leaks that occasionally happen of the internal documents of these companies, I’m not sure if any of major digital forensics companies support iOS 26 yet but generally they catch up to major iOS versions after a bit. Historically, they don’t have issues with iOS AFU mode and I don’t see a reason why iOS 26 would be different unless they’ve made some major changes to how it works.
