There is this LTT video of O.MG Cable which frankly makes me nervous with all the rando sketchy chinese products I’ve acquired over the years with provided USB cable. While the attack requires some proximity to control the wireless capability (or at least a have pre-existing access to WiFi locally) I may have lot of USB cables that I want to test before I can fully retrust any of them again.

Should I even trust them? I wanted to buy one but they dont sell to me, at least not directly (I tried).
How do I check for this kind of problem manually without a fancy USB checker?
