Hi, how would you name file and which file extension use for that if i want to use that for Hidden Volume (Veracrypt) and save that in Persisten Storage in Tails? So it will give least questions and lowest chance someone will open that?
Also, would you save that file in .name folder (hidden but easy to access)
Are you asking how to name the Veracrypt file containing the hidden volume? I’d personally go for something that looks either a little indiscriminating or something like photos.hc, tax_docs.hc and put a lot of things in there that look like they’re worth protecting.
I’m currently looking into something similar and imho if someone wo knows anything about security sees a VeraCrypt container in Tails’ persistent storage that will ring a lot of alarm bells and be very suspicious. If using Tails + persistent storage in itself is not already sus enough.
