I need to email someone a document without it being traced back to myself. Word has a tool for scrubbing personal information, but I’d like to check if there’s anything else I should be doing.
Thanks!

Depends, what editor did you use?
Use mat2, the all-in-one metadata scrubber for multiple file types. It’s fast, accessible to all, and open-source. It’s easy to set up, including a Docker image to create a simple yet effective solution to scrubbing sensitive data from documents and even audio files. We wrote a guide that details how to do this using Python for a host-only mat2-web tool. The VM isn’t necessary; if you have a major OS, you can easily set up the Docker image as a standalone container without any overhead.
Yup this is great!
