I’m in some niche group where people mostly use facebook marketplace, unfortunately. As I had to check it, I created an account with all the fake info, except a phone number. I tried creating an account without it, but it gets disabled instantly.
So I used a real phone number, it gets verified and the account worked for a couple of days, until they disabled it, asking for a laughable verification in a form of video selfie in order to unlock it. Obviously, I don’t plan to provide it, so the only option on the account itself is to download the data. There’s no any contact form to contact a support.
I’ve spend two hours in their help page (I don’t want to link it here) trying to find some sort of contact form or anything in order to execute a right to be forgotten as I don’t plan to restore the account and would rather permanently delete it, but I didn’t manage to find it.
That’s a good question. There is no email (laughable), but you can send them a message trough Meta/FB services, but I assume this didn’t work. Assuming you live in the EU, your remaining option is to send a request by mail (you read correctly)

From this page, try contacing legal@fb.com, even if they BS you and say this method isn’t valid, per EU law they have to respond to a request for deletion within 30 days I think
