How to download Picocrypt to tails?

I tried with raw generic, .deb, flatpak, but always some problems and didnt worked for me or was too hard to install. Anybody know how to download and use in tails? It would be nice if they would have appimage

What do you think about CLI version? Its the only which i managed to download and run

That would be just as fine as the GUI if you installed it the same way, but note that Picocrypt is unmaintained in favor of Picocrypt-NG, which isn’t stable yet

Thanks, yeah i tested cli now and at least Simple commands work, but would you suggest unmantained cli or unstable NG😅?

Maybe use Picocrypt for non sensitive files and then Picocrypt NG when it becomes stable

And if i would Like to encrypt important files now, then just using age would be better option?

You can use the current Picocrypt available via Flatpak and, in the future, switch to Picocrypt-NG once it’s stable. Picocrypt-NG is backward-compatible and can decrypt files created with the current Flatpak version of Picocrypt.

I tried mamy times to download Picocrypt by flathub, on terminal got info that couldnt connect to server and by reflink file for info that file is not supported, i guess there is nothing that can be done to install IT on tails as flatpak
