I recently learned that VSCode from Microsoft has trackers and sends telemetry about how people use VSCode (and probably what they type there etc) to Microsoft. VSCodium (https://vscodium.com/) strips all of those. I wanted to suggst adding VSCodium as a recommended tool here: Ad-Free Privacy Tool/Service Recommendations - Privacy Guides. How can I do this?
