i was thinking of making a keepass for each one with a strong password and then storing the all the master passwords in my keepass.
1Password for everyone, master password saved to separate Yubikeys for each member and second Yubi is used for OTP. I am also saving their creds in my Proton Pass with Passkey and Proton account has different Yubis (got them pretty cheap during Cloudflare campaign)
families digital stuff
Referring to passwords only or other documents too?
Because for paperwork, Paperless-ngx from this is quite cool/well known. ![]()
I showed them Bitwarden, and I keep the Bitwarden passwords in my own KeePass database. I don’t think using KeePass would go over well with my family.
I’ve set up a Nextcloud server with a large HDD drive for backups, and we are currently experimenting with Ente family plan for photographs.
I’ve shown them how to download other browsers and set the search engine to DuckDuckGo. I have a local Whoogle instance on but people aren’t really using it much.
If you are interested, I blog about all this stuff at theprivacydad.com. There is a Parents page.
