Signal is a great option to protect the privacy of your messages, but due to it’s centralization it can be easily blocked by governments. In this video we’ll explain how you can setup a Signal Proxy to help people access Signal in countries where Signal is blocked.
We’re trying a different style of video this week with a video tutorial. Let us know what you think!
Excellent! We need more people to run proxies for themselves and their circles. Privacy and encryption is under attack everywhere these days.
More tutorials to do more things in the privacy space yourself to mitigate or eliminate big tech and government overreach would be great to have. Hope you can make a few more.
I know self hosting basics is another one many would like to have. But the scope is huge there. Still, something here would be great to have too.
That’s a great video ! Simple and useful. I didn’t know that proxy app existed !
I came across a hosting and VPS provider called Infomaniak, based on Switzerland.
I am not tied to them in any way and not even a client, but they advertise themselves as champions for privacy, ethics and responsibility towards the environment.
I would love to know what you guys think of that provider.
