with ios 16 release, iphone started recording a health data called ‘resting energy’.
and there’s literally no way to stop your iphone recording this data until they fix this bug. -confirmed by apple-
I’ve been in contact with apple privacy department since the official 16 release. last week, they told me it was going to be fixed with 16.0.3 release, however it isn’t. and I just wanted to inform other ios users.
even if your setup is:
no icloud
no health id
no health app installed
no apple watch etc
your phone keeps recording ‘resting energy’
