Is there any GUI easy to use Linux encryption tool? Like for example open it an encrypt/decrypt files?
It is for parents (I moved them to Linux). They still use unencrypted flash drive for storing sensitive documents…
Personally I use native cryptsetup but to tell how to use CLI to parents… I think it is easier to visit the every time they need documents that teach them CLI
I think Cryptomator is very easy to use once you set it up for them. Give that a try and see how they like it. Just be sure to tell them to always save files and create folders in the folder you set up.
The only drawback I see is that if they delete files, they should be sure because it gets deleted for good right away. You can’t get it back.
Thank you! This worked indeed. They are ok with it.
That’s one way to do so, but in this case printer won’t read USB if they will need to print documents. And I don’t know how to force printer to work with anything not exFAT
