No, Pegasus has the total control of the device if you are infected.

ok thank you… lastly, just like covering the cameras and removing the microphones by opening the phone is there something to do to the device physically to get rid of the GPS or not in this case?
The position can be retrieved with cell triangulation, it’s useless to get rid of the GPS module. You need to not get infected in the first place and your best bet is a pixel device with graphene os.

Known WiFi and Bluetooth beacons also give away your location if your phone sees them (with GPS off).
