Google and 90% AI generated content by the end of 2026

Google accounts for 90% of all online searches worldwide, but Google no longer delivers what people want. People are now being forced to see what Google wants them to find. Users are no longer consumers, but have become suppliers of data to further train AI. An irrefutable sign of the “dead internet” is the absurd advice given by Google’s AI, such as: use glue on pizza to keep the toppings from sliding off so easily, or eat pebbles.

In March 2024, Google announced that it would begin using new AI algorithms, which would filter out corrupt information and clean up the internet, but failed.

Europol officials are sounding the alarm. It is estimated that currently about 50% of all internet traffic is driven by bots and AI. Europol predicts that by the end of 2026, as much as 90% of all online content will be controlled by AI.

I conduct all my queries through various search engines. Google, usually, it’s not one of them.

They can have all the AI generated content and conversations on reddit, twitter, or random websites, but this isn’t really a problem in well-moderated spaces. And I wouldn’t want to be in those spaces for quality content anyway. Sure it’s a pain for the moderators and weaker ones could fail and give up, but good moderators will handle it just as they could handle bot spam in the past.
