What’s the best current file encryption for Android? Right now I’m using PGP to encrypt my text and files and I think this is a solid way or no?
What other ways are there? Is there something like VeraCrypt but for Android?
What is better Cryptomator or PGP encryption? What’s the difference between them?

a profile with a password? There is file based encryption on every profile.
Cryptomator makes more sense if you’re uploading to cloud, and has also had audits, symmetric encryption is likely more secure/faster as well.

Some Android phones have full phone encryption already. You can check if your phone is encrypted in the settings.
An encrypted zip file may be more suitable for basic sharing. I don’t know a specific app that can do this though.
