I have a lot of emails that have been piling up for years. They include things like contracts and just generally valuable correspondence. Can I move this content to Ente Locker and delete the email archive? What kind of password should I use for Ente Locker: I assume there’s no reason to memorize it like a password manager master password?
You need the password recorded somewhere—your brain, paper, and/or a password manager.

Is there an official apk download available anywhere? I cannot find one.

They may be going the Proton Auth route where a standalone app may not be available. But this is newly released so let’s give it more time.
It is already released as a separate app. It’s only officially released in the app stores though, which I don’t use. I’m looking for an official apk that’s available outside of big tech channels.
