you can unsolder the mikes from the SoC with a little bit of work, or have it done for you at a local shop phone shop. https://degoogled.es does it for 40€ extra, if you don’t mind waiting, they are slow.

I think the idea is that a non-smartphone = more security because it has less ways to be penetrated. However, I think going with a non-smartphone isn’t a good idea when there is SMS encryption, Netguard on Android’s Play Store…

I spent a lot of time on their site and the best thing I could was this device:

The site doesn’t seem very professional? You’re better off just finding a clear manual and installing it yourself.
