Does Privacy Guides have a stance on self-hosting?

Wanted to continue a conversation here from @Parish2555

I think for self hosting, there is the initial burden of even setting up the home server, then there is the burden and criticality of the software in question. If I run SearXNG, and it goes down, it’s not a big deal. But things like Nextcloud require significant more risk in downtime.

Also as an anecdote, I once ran PiHole on a PI 3 a while back, and continually ran into issues on reboot due to the hardware clock on the Pi, causing DNS issues. Even if the software is easy to install, server maintenance is another story (self hosted or VPS for that matter).
