In that case I think this should be the new default, but probably shouldn’t be applied retroactively.

I think it’s a bad idea to convert existing threads that weren’t made with nested replies in mind. On mobile, it’s impossible to keep track of new/last replies if you’re unauthorized and have no notifications.

Yeah, I thought maybe it was just me but it is very laggy while typing. It’s also just kind of buggy, like the lines to show what replies are to aren’t there half the time on my phone. Just to clarify I’m using Vanadium.

I don’t like sorting “top” by default. It should be chronologically by default IMHO. Also the covenient scroll thingy on the right is missing with this design.

I tend to be in favor as well. The exact thread used as experiment looks like from Reddit, like many others nowadays.

I agree 100%. Following a thread “live” as people are posting is a PITA as it is now. I personally hate it. If this is going to be used everywhere with no opt-out, I’m leaving.

Tor browser struggles a lot with the new replies system. Switching between the default top and new takes 20 seconds and the whole DOM is on fire. Even typing is slow now due to performance issues caused by the update.
