Hello guys, It is been a while, I hope you are okay.
I saw some of the customizations of browsers like Brave, Vivaldi and others like Nook browser (it is a new one in the hood) so anyway I just looked at my LibreWolf with its “minimal” options of customizations and I asked myself the question I come to ask you about “Is there anyway to customize the look of LibreWolf without installing extensions?”
I mean things like background and some cool stuff and customize this stupid “about:blank” page with something like Tabliss and Homepage (by Ben Phelps) and as an old Vivaldi user i miss this kind of customizations.
You can have some fun with installing themes, which as far as I know it doesn’t weaken the fingerprinting resistance nor your security.[1]
Librewolf’s UI is just Firefox’s UI. Which means you can customize and switch out the controls, buttons and toolbars.[2] You can also use the sidebar for some of your controls or turn on vertical tabs.[3]
And Linux users can change the look of the theme by simply changing their Legacy Applications Style (GTK4 Theme). This is for example how Zorin OS users have a consistent theme with their browser and OS.
