Im not sure why they’re keeping a beta APK around, question for them I guess. They do not refer to the apps as beta anymore though.
that’s a much more helpful answer then just re-posting a link that’s been in the thread multiple times. thanks
I have the impression they entered in the last phase, Post GA, because my Bitwarden Android app just got a redesign. With new graphics
That’s the standard UI, they just released the native version app but we still have to wait for the UI refresh.
I don’t think so. I think this is the new UI, or at least partially.
That’s only the material design 3 migration.
No. I had already received the material 3. Now. they changed the icons, the fonts and the password generator layout.
Anyone else having major issues with the new Bitwarden app on GrapheneOS? Crashed so often, that it was basically unusable for me. Reverted back to the non-native app.
No problem for me so far with the latest 2024.10.2
I am on 2024.11.0 !
No problem either on GrapheneOS @sha123 . I hope your issue will be fixed with an update. You could try to activating exploit protection compatibility mode.
I haven’t experienced this. Are you using Argon2 as the algorithm? If so, you may need to play around with the hardening toggles (either DCL via memory or WebView JIT)
no new shiny for me atm
Honestly you are not missing anything it doesn’t change a lot and I don’t like it that much.
Nothing to be excited about. Really
Where did you find the 2024.11.0 version?
I checked on GitHub, fdroid, play store and there is only the 2024.10.2 available.
i am not sure of they have released it for stable channel or maybe it is a phased rollout . On my playstore it still shows 2024.10.0 . or maybe they have delayed the new updated for fixing some bugs. We could expect an update in coming week.
They could’ve bought already available password management features like breach checks, used passwords etc. in web version to the apps
Yes, I am using one of the argon algorithms. No restrictions active, neither for DCL nor WebView JIT, also tried compatibility mode.
That’s strange. Maybe try the other algorithm? I have not experienced any crashes at all so far.
What version are you running?
It seems that in the 2024.11.1 (latest is 2024.11.3) they fixed some crash bug. I use argon and have no problem.
