Am I understanding correctly that Fedora systems report back a usage analytic?
To disable that the following is run for Atomic versions:
OStree:
systemctl mask --now rpm-ostree-countme.timer
Additional details:
[…] we estimate installed Fedora systems by counting unique IP addresses which show up in our updates mirror statistics."
And that’s perfectly fine. Telemetry is not spying if done correctly, and in FOSS & Linux world, it usually is.
