Arkenfox is like rocket science to me! Is there a thorough video guide?

And please don’t direct me to their wiki. That’s what’s rocket science to me. 2 years now been wanting to use it and every once in a while I head over to their github, go through their wiki and a couple of chapters in, i just give up…rinse repeat a couple of months later.

Mind you i am not computer illiterate. I’m no programmer either, but way above average compared to the average user. Yet i still can’t get it. I think their guide, as thorough as it “seemingly” is, lacks the perspective of an average user so gets into it from a frame of a developer…start explaining beginner stuff…but straight from the deep end. Like how about about starting with how to actually get it set up first, and then we can expand from there? And if that is already in there (i am sure it is…i mean it’s gotta be…right?) then it’s doing a horrible job making it obvious.

I’m deducing the .js file is pretty important and that this Arkenfox thing revolves around it. But what the hell do you do with it? Better yet, what is it? You know what, I don’t even know what it is lest I get pushed into the deep end again, I just escaped from there. But do tell me…Do I install it? IS is installable or is it something to “apply”? How do you apply it? Is that it? Apply it and that’s it? Do I have to do anything else? What and HOW? How come there is no tl;dr or a summary on their wiki? Also, i don’t get how I can’t find on YouTube a guide, right away.

Someone PLEASE point me in the right direct.

Why did you just repost this?

And maybe instead consider just using Mullvad Browser.

The Arkenfox wiki recommends this video:

Just use Mullvad Browser and/or Librewolf.

Here is a non-YouTube link. We can’t hold your hand and walk you through it, that isn’t what this forum is for, so I’m closing this thread now. Good luck, and definitely consider Mullvad Browser as well if you want a more private browser.
