The concerning part for many people here is the privacy bounties being cut from 30.5k to 5k. Hopefully Apple decides to bring them back up otherwise no one will be reporting them.

I had hope and now they’ve partially crushed my hope. At least they kept the higher bounties for the other OSes it seems.

They’ve probably just accepted that it’s a losing battle. Security-conscious users should consider switching to an iPad or GrapheneOS desktop mode if their workflow can support it. Hopefully, we will soon get more traditionally mobile OS’s with robust desktop functionality.
It should be noted that this is still highly experimental as its now been shown to only work as a proof of concept (given the number of limitations and bugs it has from a UI/UX POV). Though I hope this changes soon and that they improve this soon enough.
