Advice buying used Pixel

GrapheneOS gives you way more control than almost any device would possibly give you tbh
Yeah I guess Google is now adding contact and storage scopes equivalent to AOSP but nothing beats the network permission and sandboxed Google play which I presume what you’re using the firewall for (and even then use Netguard which uses a VPN Slot? Why this other firewall app?)

Sorry, I hadn’t thought of bringing up apps being against rules. I don’t have any affiliation with anyone.

I perhaps better go read the rules, my bad…

Oh no it is fine to mention apps, it’s just a project of mine and I am not risking anymore reported posts being under “Spam”, already had an internal conflict so.
But can Dm you in that regard

But still if you’re planning to get a pixel with Graphene, I would just stick with what you’re doing, no need for adb scripts or new shizuku app or whatever

I like the other app because it has an easy GUI I can understand till I sharpen my skills. Everything is locked down except what I cannot lock down. Plus that particular app allows me to creare a backup of what I have disabled so I can keep experimenting on what I can get away with. Once that is figurwd out I will take all thoae disabled apps and remove them and impatiently wait for a pixel and graphene.

I don’t know how to sandbox stuff and just feel better completely removing stuff. I guess the way I see it, if it ain’t there, it can’t caise me problems in the first place?

I don’t even have goivle play or google services now. I just use an alternative app store and replaced all the apps that I could.

I know my phone is noy rooted, but it sure looks like it is if you saw it with all the apps I replaced. I am still learning and can change my methods as I learn more.

Can I get a copy of Graphene OS without Google stuff? I dont care of it’s sandboxed, I dont want google stuff on my device.

It’s the default state of GrapheneOS. Google stuff is optional.
