QPDF is a tool for modifying PDF files.
Why I think this tool should be added
We currently recommend the use of Exiftool. When using Exiftool to remove metadata from a PDF, it warns that this is actually reversible! The Exiftool section on PDF metadata similarly mentions this and tells users that they can make the removal of metadata permanent by re-linearizing the document. (Source: PDF Tags)
Even if we don’t recommend QPDF directly, I think it would be a good idea to make note of this in the Exiftool recommendation. The warning does not explain how to make this permanent (more of an Exiftool failure than ours, IMO), which makes it more important to mention this discrepancy when recommending Exiftool.
