I want to use Google Messages on my Phone running GrapheneOS with Sandboxed Play Services for E2E encrypted messages when my contacts want to use SMS. But is it possible, that Google can link my phone number to my Google Account, and if yes, are there ways to disable it?
During the configuration, it suggests to use the google account that is associated with the phone, but you can just choose “use without account”.
