@Lukas I also like Apple. Ive been Apple-only for well over 6 years and guess what? Am perfectly fine. Thats me who decide what kind of my PII Apple knows.

@Lukas Im well aware that you dislike Apple for some reason, but Apple devices can be make privacy respecting. Thats not impossible, thats just harder than on Android.

If Apple devices are privacy-respecting, then the threshold of what’s considered privacy-respecting is quite low.
If people start accepting mediocrity as good, then there is no need for things to progress to the higher standard.

That is what Id argue with…
Every person on this planet have different threshold; what will be considered private by some, does not need to be considered private by others.
There is no such thing like “golden privacy standard” that dictates strict set of things that are private and everything not on the list is not considered private.
