At best you should be downplaying your assertions of self defense. Because if he entered the situation with intent to murder, he already knew from all his buddies how to setup the scene.

He went behind her vehicle. She reversed and then turned so it was pointing at him. Again, Iām not claiming intent on behalf of either party. But he didnāt walk in front of her car. Donāt blame the victim. Or one of the victims, if you prefer that framing.

How so? Please explain my own reasoning. He shot her in self-defense. Intent to survive is permissable and normal. Ramming federal agents with an SUV is not. All she needed to do was stay still. Do nothing. Yet she chose to floor it. She forced his hand.
Self defense is a legal conclusion so by your logic you shouldnāt call it that until he proves it in court.
Iām interpreting events from his perception in the moment without the benefit if heindsight. Note how I didnāt claim she attempted to murder the agent? All we know for certain is that a man lawfully defended himself.
You fall back onto the āan investigation vindicated himā defense when there was no investigation.
There is literally no way to prove you wrong.

Actually āshe attempted to murder the agentā directly and necessarily logically follows from claiming his actions were in self defense since it canāt be self defense without threat of death or grievous bodily harm, so you kind of have been claiming that.

The difference is Iām not accusing the man of anything. Acting in self-defence isnāt a crime, so the legal standard doesnāt apply. He met the threshold for self-defence before she struck him with her car.

A self defense claim is literally an admission that āthis would be murder, but I was justified becauseā¦ā and then you have to prove that you were acting in self defense.
Self defense cases are literally one of the rare cases where it isnāt exactly āinnocent until proven guiltyā as we normally understand, because the defense has admitted all the necessary factors are there for a murder conviction, but there are additional mitigating factors that make them innocent. In a self defense case, the burden of proof is on the one who claims to have been acting in self defense.
He has not proven he was acting in self defense.

If there was 0.01% doubt about his motive he would have been charged with an offense. He acted in self-defence, surrounded by witnesses. There is footage. Unless you can demonstrate he acted otherwise then yes; he acted in self-defense. It certainly wasnāt murder. Why arenāt you interrigating those claiming murder with the same rigour? Is it because you are ācertainā without an investigation?
I do believe there should be an internal and external investigation btw. There are lessons for everyone involved.
I think there should be an investigation by multiple parties.
What about the grey area in between such as manslaughter or negligent homicide?

What footage? A few videos spammed on the internet? I hold myself to a higher standard and need to see videos from an investigation. I am certain there will be no investigation because government officials have said there will be no investigation.
