"Windows 11 Installation Assistant" bloat pc/reset settings?

I’m on Windows 11 and I want to upgrade from 23H2 to 24H2 for some features of the new version.

Even after following several online tutorials, I haven’t been able to get version 24H2 to appear in Windows Update, even though my PC is compatible. So I wanted to use “Windows 11 Installation Assistant.”

However, if I use it, could it reset the privacy settings I’ve meticulously configured or install unwanted Microsoft programs?

If I recall correctly I upgraded from win10 to win11 using the installation assistant and my settings were preserved, so I guess from 23H2 to 24H2 it should be fine too.
