I really wonder, where did Google got that storage pricing idea from…
so bottom line i dont Need Pixels And Iphones for my Treat Model Since Most Phones i have a Secure Enough
No, you’re just coping at this point.
If you can’t get a Google Pixel or an iPhone, then I guess it’s best to harden your current device as much as possible, but don’t expect reasonable security.
Its OK I wish listed both an IPhone 12 And a used Pixel 6
maybe, but seeing as phone’s are completely locked down at this point, with little to no ability to repair them or upgrade them (even things like storage, etc), I don’t think it’s a stretch to say that the lack of microSD slot is mainly driven by greed and not good for consumers. Furthermore, with phone camera’s becoming higher quality, photos take up more space, meaning that for many people, the storage that comes in the phone is quickly used up. Also, note how many phones push their cloud storage offerings as well (iCloud, Google Drive, etc).
The point of a microSD card is to add extra storage, but also let you access your photos at any time on your phone without the need to plug in an external drive.
Is that new to just the 8? I bought a new Pixel 7 Pro in January this year to save some money and couldn’t find anything larger than 512.
Then just be grateful that you have a good Secure phone to begin with
