What PC monitor to reduce browser fingerprint?

Hello, i am in the process of buying a new pc monitor for my desktop. I have decided to buy a VA pc monitor. I would like to choose a monitor with specifications that make me “blend in” with the crowd to reduce as much as possible browser fingerprinting. I know that screen specifications are not the only thing that makes a browser fingerprint but i want to do it right when choosing a monitor.

What specs in particular should i aim for to not stand out from other users? Some things that i see are:

  • 1920:1080
  • 16:9
  • 23.8" (60.45 cm)

Anything else i should take into consideration? Does 60 hz, 75 hz matter? What about % sRGB ? Do monitors nowadays have telemetry under Linux?

If you go by Mullvad browser standard, here is what they do:

“Mullvad Browser in its default mode is starting with a content window rounded to a multiple of 200px x 100px to prevent fingerprinting the screen dimensions. The strategy here is to put all users in a couple of buckets to make it harder to single them out. That works so far until users start to resize their windows (e.g. by maximizing them or going into fullscreen mode).”

But I think you should just buy anything you’d like and use Mullvad + VPN when you are worried about fingerprinting (or Tor as Anon said).
