I was gonna pay for phone verification on YouTube but I found out you have to scan a QR code when you’re signing up for YouTube. How do I do that when I’m using phone verification service? And doesn’t the QR code have to be scanned with the same phone you’re using for phone verification?

What do you mean? Are you talking about creating an account for YouTube? If so there is a ton of alternative apps to access content on YouTube such as NewPipe, LibreTube, FreeTube, Invidious, Piped etc.

If you want to register for a google account without your real phone I would recommend using an anti-detect, anti-fingerprinting browser. I recently used Incognet and I was able to create a google account with just the traditional sms verification, no qr code.

I don’t see a download for Linux on Incogniton but thanks for letting me know about anti-detect browsers but I could use Donut browser, tyvm.
