What are privacy-supporting jobs or careers? Especially non-technical (and how do I get one?)

A few years ago I started getting into OSINT research. Which is exactly what converted me into a privacy hawk.

I’m wondering what jobs, or even careers, there are out there other than the most obvious one (CISO - Chief Information Security Officer) and working in data security.

I can guess about things like working for a lobbying/advocacy group like EFF, but beyond that, I’m not sure.

Seeking employment with Proton, Tuta, Mullvad, or any other companies working to protect privacy and make it available to the average Joe would be a good option.

Arguably, any career can eventually become a privacy-supporting career - you just need to advocate for better privacy practices within whatever company you work for. This may or may not work well - an advertising company would probably fire you.
