Way to automatically save browser passwords into OS password manager?

Is there a way to automatically save Firefox’s saved passwords into a system password manager/keyring in Linux? I’m setting up a computer for a family member and they refuse to learn how to use password managers. Saving passwords in the browser is of course better than forgetting them, but I would prefer if these passwords could be saved in a OS database for extra safety. Anyone knows if this is possible or have any suggestions in making the use of a password manager as seamless as possible?

I can only think on a password manager. You could probably try the Bitwarden’s browser extension. I think it has some of the features you’re looking for.

For a local approach I’m not sure TBH, I think there could be KeePass browser extensions but I never used them so I’m not sure about these.
