What are the risks of using Signal with a phone number that I do not own / do not own anymore ? (and supposedly that I do not have access to anymore)
Ex: temporary phone number, phone number that I lost…
If you have a pin you can skip the sms verification.

Be careful though, if the number got recycled afterwards and someone else got to it they can take over the account.
Tokens are immediately invalidated if you or someone else goes through the registration process (e.g. by completing SMS verification).
