Update to Project Showcase posting policy

No i think it is pretty straight forward. If a question is raised regarding their product they can answer. If they pushing their solution to a matter not about their product, they cannot. But this is what we have a moderation team for, I am not expecting issues here.

Just to put it out here, as I really get this is upsetting to some of you, and this is not a surprise. It is good to know that, from what I can tell, the last accepted showcase was somewhere in April this year. Our moderation inbox has been slammed with post requests that were either no fit, ai generated, or we simply did not have the time to review them. Developers also complain about this because we are not clear on when and if we can review them (and so do AI bots).

Just wanted to say showcase posts have never been a big part of the forum content, deliberately as well so it does not feel spammy, and quite a couple times we got complaints also for things we allowed, or certain products tried to test the limits so to speak. It also hasn’t been a driver for the vetting process to get recommended in the vast majority of recommendations.

Really good solutions will surely find their way to Privacy Guides going forward.
