Translation software/services

Really been liking it so far. Translation quality seems very high, though it is important to note that it utilizes, at least to some capacity, LLMs for its translations. How that affects accuracy and consistency, I’m not sure, but the results I’ve seen (at least in my native language as well as French) have been surprisingly good.

As for the privacy aspect, it doesn’t require an account, though you do lose some functonality being only a website. I also have a relatively high opinion of Kagi in terms of their privacy and the way they handle things, though take that with a grain of salt as I am someone who already pays for one of their other offerings.

I generally agree, just wanted to update so the thread doesn’t contain outdated info



I personally believe we shouldn’t recommend any online translation services.Very Small LLMs can now translate almost any language, so there is really no reason to risk online.
