Thoughts on fullmoon

I recently found this very new app called fullmoon and it’s a local and open-source way to run LLMs on iOS and MacOS. The service started in October of last year, so it’s very new and I wouldn’t recommend it be added to the site yet, but I wanted to know what the community’s thoughts on this app was

neato

it is more polished than PocketPal but has way less customization and far fewer models available

it does however anecdotally seem faster, but that may just be due to the smaller models

edit: another benefit: it only connects to huggingface. pocketpal connects to google analytics and firebase each start.

I didn’t realize that, I guess I’ll stick with fullmoon for LLMs for now, since I don’t need much from an app like this
