That doesn’t happen to be the case. I signed up after Skiff Mail, gave it a recovery address, and the emails are being sent to the recovery address and the skiff.com address. This account was opened on the 10th January 2023 so that’s certainly after Skiff Mail launched.
Users in this case may very well want to see these emails, but not on their recovery inbox.
