Um, is this in Microsoft Edge? Because that is basically what you are implying with your username.
What i’m using itsn’t that important, it;s edge yes, but should is disable Fedcm?
I would disable it it doesnt look like its a privacy problem but I dont think you gain anything from it at the moment you can read more Federated Credential Management (FedCM) | Ory
Why use Microsoft Edge out of all the browsers?
I am very curious what made you decide to stick to Microsoft Edge. It is a privacy nightmare.
It sort of is to save time looking for solutions.
To answer your original post:
You can always try it as disabled and go around your commonly used web pages and see if things break. If sites are ok, it should be fine as disabled. You will be surprised what a lot of disabling features have no effect for you as a user.
This is a reminder that while you have it disabled now it (or any setting for that matter) doesn’t mean it stays disabled. You should know by now that Windows and MS does not respect user preference.
I use microsoft edge for various reasons, like using effecienty Enhanced Security Mode and saving space , ,but i uses with
How to Disable Diagnostic Data Collection in Microsoft Edge Completely – AskVG
and
/etc/hosts file for blocking Microsoft Edge tracking domains (and more) · GitHub
to ensure most privacy as possible on it. Also microsoft edge hasn’t changed my settings without permissions yet, thought i get a pop up about my settings every once in a while.
Enhanced security mode?! What is not secure with something like Brave!? I am trying to understand your reasoning here.
This seems a lot to go through. I suggest you read about browsers here: Privacy Respecting Web Browsers for PC and Mac - Privacy Guides
Anyway, Ublock Origin won’t be working pretty soon on Microsoft Edge, and Brave requires almost no setup.
I do use brave on mobile and I might use on computer when microsoft stops supporting ublock
