That shoudl warrant a removal.
If they are based on OnlyOffice, they would inherit their licensing problems.

Why?
I have even noticed some typos so I don’t think it was AI-generated.
They do use AI tools as that’s becoming the norm nowadays (just like Ente and Proton which are recommended btw and highly regarded). It can be a very useful tool when used properly.
Of course I’m not talking about vibe coding. That is completely untrustworthy and bad.

Not at all. There was a dispute over this but nothing came of it. Even the FSF responded saying that OnlyOffice’s terms are not enforcable.
Euro-Office is 100% AGPL-3.
Then the argument about the additional clauses doesn’t make sense if they are invalid anyway.
But removing binary blobs is based anyway.
Aren’t suggestion threads supposed to do one thing?
indeed. For inclusion of nextcloud office, see Nextcloud Office Desktop . Let’s keep this thread on the removal of onlyoffice.
OnlyOffice seems to have moved AI tools out of the standard package of OnlyOffice and move it to an official, closed source add-on maintained by ONLYOFFICE.
License: ONLYOFFICE - Cloud Office Applications
Article about it: ONLYOFFICE 10.0 is a 'fully rebuilt app' with more AI tools - OMG! Ubuntu
At this point I will throughout OnlyOffice from my system and search for better alternatives.
Yeah that sucks
glad to use the OG Libreoffice
A mobile fork of Libreoffice that works relatively well is collabora office
IMHO LibreOffice UI/UX suck and many normies think that too.
So for some people and for organizations LibreOffice is a pretty bad solution.
I’m not a normie and I have an aneurism every time i have to use libreoffice.
tbh that’s true
Using libreoffice is kinda like working and playing a game of guess where at the same time
iirc collabora office gives a different UI than Libreoffice anyway but yeah
It definitely works (and well) but it is a bit of a time to search for some functions.
