Continuing the discussion from Raspberry Pi TV HAT (Hardware Device):

We should have a Knowledge Base article that covers how to stream media privately, without making any specific hardware/software recommendations.

For example, we are definitely able to cover OTA television and its benefits, without needing to recommend specific tuner hardware (which we can also do on a separate page later, if we decide we want to), since the privacy benefits are more general and not confined to specific antennas or whatever.

In addition to talking about OTA TV, we should brainstorm other general private media consumption tactics that we could cover on this page here, that don’t involve specific software/hardware/tools.

For example, maybe we could cover obtaining media from public services like libraries (incl. the Internet Archive)?

yup I’m in for it, what Television and Projector Guide was destined, just wasn’t sure how we could fit it into but if anyone has an idea feel free to let us know.

I wanted to start this new thread because that discussion was more focused on tools/things you use, while this is more focused on things you know/do, but yes.

Definitely should mention playing media offline rather than streaming.
