I can’t say whether it is just my VPN, or all VPNs. But for what it is worth, I’m using ProtonVPN.

Hmm… It’s not down for me. I’m able to access it, as long as my VPN is turned off.
My NextDNS setup won’t return an address for a brand new domain address record. The reason is that many bad sites (phishing, malware, etc.) use brand new DNS A records.
So, at present, I get a address not found if I try to go there. That will resolve itself in a few days. Or if I can’t wait I can got to my NextDNS control panel and whitelist it.
Does the DNS server on your VPN do the same thing?
